Post-Punk, Metalcore, and Riddim: Cargo’s Fall 2026 Lineup
If 2026 at Cargo has had a defining sound, it’s the sound of the room changing from one night to the next.
This fall, the calendar moves from Belarusian post-punk and synth-pop to house, riddim, metalcore, death metal, and emo. It’s less about checking every genre off a list and more about what a live music venue should be: a place where different scenes get their night in Reno.
Here’s what’s ahead at Cargo Concert Hall.
Post-Punk & Synth-Pop
Molchat Doma — September 2
Molchat Doma’s stark synths, driving rhythms, and unmistakable post-punk atmosphere arrive at Cargo on September 2. Dark, danceable, and built for a room with plenty of low end.
New Constellations — October 22
Portland duo New Constellations brings the It Comes in Waves Tour to Reno for a night of dream-pop, synth-pop, and quietly expansive songwriting.

House, Bass Music & Riddim
AYYBO — September 19
AYYBO makes his Reno debut with a late-night set rooted in house, tech house, and indie dance. Adam Vaughn, Roger That!, and EMOWI join the bill.
Madeon — October 6
Madeon brings Victory Live to Cargo on October 6. Expect an immersive meeting of electronic production, pop songwriting, and the kind of large-scale live energy usually reserved for much bigger rooms.
Zingara — December 4
Zingara closes out this run with a riddim-heavy night alongside Gardella and Bella Renee. Consider this your invitation to board the mothership.
Metalcore, Death Metal & Theatrical Chaos
Nekrogoblikon — October 11
Nekrogoblikon brings its distinctly unhinged take on melodic death metal to Cargo with Rivers of Nihil and Cyborg Octopus. Serious musicianship. Considerably less serious subject matter.
GWAR — November 15
There are metal shows, and then there are GWAR shows. The long-running theatrical metal institution returns to Reno with Midnight, Mac Sabbath, and Atomic Rule.
Plan accordingly.
The Amity Affliction — November 23
Australian metalcore veterans The Amity Affliction bring the House of Cards 2026 Tour to Cargo with Blessthefall, Orthodox, and Buried in Spring.

Alt-Rock, Emo & Post-Hardcore
Free Throw & Microwave — October 24
Free Throw and Microwave share the stage for a co-headlining night built on cathartic hooks, loud guitars, and the particular emotional weight that keeps people returning to emo and alternative rock.

The Funeral Portrait — November 19
The Funeral Portrait brings its theatrical blend of emo, post-hardcore, and alternative rock to Cargo with support from Pinknoise. The Coffin Crew knows where to be.

Ten shows. Four months. No single version of what a night at Cargo has to sound like.
Pick your lane—or cross a few.
